hm hm Music.. music.. its controversial. Even at the Ottoman era, we had thousands of songs.. The rules on music is not that strict.. But they say its better not to. I listen a lot, sometimes I think that 99% of the songs give me nothing. Its wasting time.. However I do, anyway..there are more important things for me to fix before 'listening habit of music'

Yeah, it really is controversial. I still can't understand completely why they sometimes are sticking with the matter. There are hundreds of thousands of "unimportant" and "trivial" things to "waste" our time. It's a value-judgement, however, to say that the thing "wastes" your time or not and it totally depends on the person and situation. Who can make a judgement? I know this is a way to think of non-religious people-me-, I can't deny the fact that so many of songs and musics have already given irreplaceable gifts to human being ever. It goes without saying that they are a big part of the culture and history.
At least, in my case, I rarely listen to music, but all of them give me not only a precious time to think about their world and something philosophical but also a way to go ahead of me and materials to analyze the contemporary society.
I hear it's better not to listen music-non-religious one- but to read Qur'an instead. Okay, I can understand it well, but if so, what if your chatting with friends and families, studying something that won't be utilized in the future, reading something that the majority in the time regard meaningless, being tired so sleeping from night to night. Each of them is sometimes better than reading Qur'an and sometimes vice versa.
Ah, I've already written so much, but I never intend to cast "controversial" theme! I've just realized again how nice music from 1960 till 2000 or so in Japan is, while listening to a TV program from my mobile phone the other day. That's all. I don't challenge the belief of Islam never and ever, I know you know it though, hehehe. Thanks for a comment as usual.
Yep I do know. Anyway, I think it is not a ban, instead its up to the individuals. They probably start to see the music as a waste of time after they started to use all the possible time they have.
"Hmm... where can I find more time... oh music!"
Not exactly, but something like that. Im too tired today, too many walk today.
Oh I forgot the sign. Commenter above: me
Haha, for me...there's nobody to talk with me and I don't feel like studying at all, indeed I need some energy from THE song. Something like this.
Why nobody speaks with you.. What.. I hope I got the wrong meaning..
When it comes to the 'power from the music' Maybe I did understand you hmm.. hmm I have to get up very early this semester and for some days, I listen "Mecburen", a Turkish song... it means "Obligatory"
A part of lyrics are.. translation:
"Waking up early, obligated.
Going to work, obligated.
Returning to home, obligated.
..due to obligation.
When the sounds of "oh" become "offf" (argh),
When everyone starts to say something,
When confused, when depressed,
..due to obligation.
Whatever it happens, I gave up.
It meaningless to struggle,
I started to believe in luck & fate
..due to obligation.
I loved so many beauties,
(loved) One of them, a bit more.
Heart does not love equally
..due to obligation
Obligated obligated
Obligated obligated
Obligated Obligated
...obligatory"
It makes me feel better :P

haha, OBLIGATED!! Thanks for letting me know. It also makes me wake up.
Now I'm at home. I can see my cat has already got into the winter mode. He is sleeping or eating only recently. What a pity, he has to be outside home after I got an alergy a few years ago.
Winter has come here. It's cold, and it makes me keep in a blanket in the morning.
Catsss.. whats the name :) is it living with you now or still at home (parents). hm there are a few cats in front of the dorm building, today we played with them for a while.
hm cold. not usual, but its still warm here :S take care of yourself, please do not get cold. stay healthy :)

He is at home (with my parents) and his name is Nyaako. As you know, 'ko' is used for girl's name in the end and it makes us feel sweet. 'Nyaa' is a Japanese sound of cat.
He is in fact a diplomacy, who goes and comes back between our neighbers and our home. He knows he is not allowed to get into inside of our home, but he easily goes to the inside of other houses, sleeps in the confortable place and is feeded much better food than ours, haha. Even that, he recognises his nationality, Mika's Republic, so he always goes back to our home at night, when my parents come back from works.
Anyway, he also likes to be with our two dogs! They are talking each other and playing together.
It is really nice to see them in pleasure at our yard at the beginning of coming winter.
Now I'm at Tokyo.
"Nyaako" ahaha cute name for a cat. Why is not Nyaako allowed to your home? Cats are smart beings, they know where they can find better food or friendly cuddling ^^ If you try hard, even wild street cats would come to you and let you fondle them
Mika's Republic has a lovely community there, 2 dogs and a cat :) Does it snow in winters at the Republic lands?
I am happy to know that you liked his name and the name of the country he belongs to.
I got him when I was at 2nd year of high school. He was found beside the library by our Japanese language teacher. The teacher is fond of cats (he is almost 60 but not married, indeed his cat takes a place of his wife I think) but he loves only one cat of him, so he cannot have another one anymore. However, he could not leave the cat (my cat) and the teacher was going around classrooms at noon when we were having lunch if there is a student who can take care of the cat.
I had a cat before that, but he was killed in an accident and I long wanted another one. I fell in love soon when I saw him in our teacher's arm, and I called my mom working at an elementary school in the next town by a cell phone. Indeed, I did not ask her whether it is possible for me to have the cat or not. I just told her to drop in at my high school after her work (around 19:00 or 20:00) and she seemed to be really surprised to know my intension when she arrived at my school and saw me, the teacher and THE CAT!
I had been taking care with him well and indeed he was inside of our house. He was really smart and there was not any problem. However, when I was 2nd-year student at university I got sick because of blablabla.....and we found that the cat inside of the house can definitely affect on my sick negatively.
That's all.
Ah, it snows well, but, you know, now we're in the global warming. You'll never know what comes next.
What a lucky lost cat Nyaako was :) Being found by a cat-lover teacher and then having such a nice owner (um, prime minister) after being lost. Im sure you mother was really surprised to see her daughter with a cat waiting in the teacher's office for her.
Yep, Nyaako and cats in general may affect, but Im sure the Republic has enough outskirts (Which is strangely called 'the yard' or 'the garden' by humanbeings) that Nyaako could live with the other two dogs (are they big black scary ones?) Anyway, since Nyaako is smart due to being a cat, he would have no problem with dealing the dogs, hehe. Cats forever.
